Sartaaj Tour Bradford - St George's Hall

The Sufi maestro, Dr Satinder Sartaaj is set to return to St George's Hall in September following the successful tour in 2022! Sartaaj is an internationally known, multi-talented songwriter, singer, composer, poet and actor who remains at the forefront of his craft. Since he started performing in 1999, he has released eight number 1 solo albums and sold millions of albums and sell out tours worldwide.

A multi-gifted artist, actor, songwriter, singer, composer and poet. As an artist he excites, enlightens, leads and embraces his fans with insights into life’s meaning and deepest feelings. Ancestral values are seen embedded deep in his poetry. Satinder Sartaaj captivates audiences through the vigour and sheer beauty of his words and lyrics.

Teeyan - The Festival of Teeyan

A festival dedicated to the onset of the new season, empowering women and girls. Traditionally, married women came back to their paternal homes where they were showered in gifts. Women and girls got together in this time to celebrate by singing and dancing.
Club Ekta brought Teeyan to Bradford with live sangeet, boliyan and DJ provided by DJ Nav Entertainments along with many other performances on the day alongside a 4 course meal.

Pink Lohri

Lohri marks the winter harvest festival in Northern India, where people celebrate with bonfires and parties. The first lohri of a newborn or newly married couple is considered auspicious as the festival symbolises fertility. Traditionally, the birth of a girl wasn't celebrate as they are seen as a 'burden' and 'cultural liability' in society. Unfortunately, this is still the case for some and female foeticide and discrimination is prevalent at high rated. The birth of any child should be seen as a blessing regardless of their gender. A renowned Panjabi singer and actress, Daesh Sandhu also performed at Pink Lohri, which was hosted at The Lyceum in Bradford.  A night of food, live music, entertainment, empowering women and celebrating sisterhood.


Ronak Night

You bring the RONAK, we provide the experience... An evening of music, dance and bringing cultures together from the South Asian community. Club Ekta celebrated its first anniversary with a night of Ronak at The Lyceum in Bradford with over 300 ladies in attendance. An exclusive night with legendary Panjabi singers Apna Sangeet performing live on stage. Many travelled from as far as Manchester, Birmingham and London to enjoy a night of Ronak. This took place in classic Ekta style with fine cocktails and softails, sumptuous small plates, a 4 course dinner, fire performances, drummers and a night of live entertainers. 


Sartaaj - Rejuvenation Tour 2022

Club Ekta alongside Skystar Media hosted the Sartaaj Rejuvenation Tour at St George's Hall in Bradford. Dr Satinder Sartaaj, an Indian singer, songwriter, and actor of the Punjabi language. The artist crosses over several communities of the south Asian sub-continent with his Sufi music and has a unique ability to speak and sing in many different languages. He has performed at the most prestigious venues in the world including the Royal Albert Hall and Sydney Opera House. Sartaaj is known for his poetry globally to support peace and humanity along with releasing music with a positive social message. Club Ekta also supported Skystar Media by shadowing The Rejuvenation Tour, including The Royal Albert Hall, which had an audience of over 4500 people.

Club Ekta, alongside Desi Jam celebrated Pink Lohri with a 4 course dinner and dance event at The Bradford Hotel. A renowned Panjabi singer, JK, was also invited to perform at this event, which welcomed over 400 ladies. 


Launch

It was only right to throw a launch party in true Ekta style to celebrate the beginning of our journey. A night of empowering women and celebrating sisterhood. We welcomed ladies from across Leeds and Bradford to our dinner and dance with live DJs, drummers and entertainment all night. The event was graced by local councillors, and inspirational leaders to mark the occasion of the official Club Ekta Launch Night.
